Paddling, Tubing & Discovery: Week 4 of Summer Camp with Statesville Recreation & Economic Vitality

Week 4 of Summer Camp with Statesville Recreation & Economic Vitality was filled with hands-on learning, outdoor adventure, and plenty of summer fun!

Our Day Camp campers enjoyed an exciting trip to Kaleideum, where they explored interactive exhibits, discovered new ideas, and learned through play.

Meanwhile, our Adventure Camp campers embraced the great outdoors with an action-packed week of adventures. Campers floated down the river during a tubing trip with NC River Riders, paddled the waters at Lake Norman State Park while canoeing, and wrapped up the week with swimming and hiking at Elkin Recreation & Parks.

From exploring science and creativity to experiencing some of North Carolina's beautiful outdoor destinations, Week 4 gave campers even more opportunities to stay active, build confidence, and create lasting memories with friends.

Summer Camp continues to be an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to see what adventures are still to come!
