Wildlife & Outdoor Adventures: Week 5 of Summer Camp with Statesville Recreation & Economic Vitality

Week 5 of Summer Camp with Statesville Recreation & Economic Vitality brought campers face-to-face with incredible wildlife while exploring some of North Carolina's favorite outdoor destinations.

Our Day Camp campers visited Lazy 5 Ranch, where they enjoyed seeing a variety of animals up close and experiencing one of the state's most unique attractions.

Adventure Camp campers spent the week discovering wildlife, science, and the outdoors through visits to the Carolina Raptor Center, the Greensboro Science Center, and Rocky Face Mountain Recreational Area. From learning about birds of prey and exploring fascinating exhibits to hiking scenic trails and tackling outdoor challenges, every day offered a new adventure.

Week 5 was another exciting reminder that Summer Camp is about more than field trips - it's about exploring new places, building friendships, and creating unforgettable experiences.
